The beginningsOver ten years ago, two mountain bike buddies from the UK, Gary and Damian, stumbled over the idea for an all-in-one© portable pressure washer when they would come back from a ride with completely muddy bikes that they didn't want to have to clean when they returned home.The first thing they did was improvise with a garden spray to which they attached a 12 volt tyre inflator, but they weren't satisfied with this solution. So their quest to create a specific product began. After approaching a number of companies about the idea, and being turned down, the project was put on hold. |
2006While the Dirtworker was just becoming available in Europe, a partner was sought for the USA and Canada markets and the rights sold to Techtronic Industries (TTI) a world supplier of domestic appliances and power tools.2007The first TTI Dirtworker - which was orange in colour - was launched. Shortly after its launch it was decided to change the name to NomadTM. |

2008TTI replaced their first product with two new ones. This development introduced the military style design available from this site but, more importantly, the world's first cordless all-in-one pressure washer, making it the world's first completely portable pressure washer. |

Start to Finish Leisure appointed as the sole UK distributor for the Nomad washers in the UK by TTI.
