Your – clean – carriage awaits

True to form the Great British Weather gave us and the competitors at Sandringham’s round of the National and Eastern Carriage Driving Championships everything. From non-stop rain overnight into Saturday – perfect for making the marathon conditions interesting – to the next day’s beautiful sunny and dry conditions for the National’s cones event and the Eastern District’s Obstacles.

Nomad fans were already there but also in the wings to buy what they see now as ‘must have’ equipment for carriage driving.  And to prove a point, we demonstrated how simple and quick it is to clean down a carriage with one.  Instead of throwing buckets of water indiscriminately at a carriage, with a Nomad you fill the tank – equivalent to around one bucket – aim and clean. Job done in no time and much more effective owing to the energy the pump injects into the water and the fantastic variable adjustment of the spray gun.

Kick the bucket….There is a better way……

One, two or 4 horses, all sweaty and muddy is very hard work to keep clean all weekend when you are away from home, add to that one or two dusty or muddy carriages and it’s a full time labour of love, or not…

Feedback we are receiving form competitors is that one tank of water can comfortably clean a pair of horses and if you are super quick even a team of four.  That is amazing when you consider that it’s less than the volume of one bucket of water.  The water pressure from the Nomad whilst being the highest of any portable washer available on the market is totally carriage safe, it will not blow gritty water past seals into hubs, brake slave or master cylinders or ball joints.  The water pressure makes cleaning so much faster and much more effective and than just using a bucket, brush and a sponge.

Don’t get mud, get even.

First stop Windsor, now Sandringham!

One of the great things about supplying mobile washers is that we get to meet some very interesting people often in some stunning places across this island. And we keep discovering new uses for a Nomad all the time.

Take for instance the British Motorhome Show at Peterborough showground – perhaps not as stunning as Windsor but amazing to see all those gleaming white motorhomes –  we discovered that a Nomad is perfect for keeping mobility scooters clean, as well as motorhomes. Of course! At home or away from home.

As our tour around Britain continues this weekend, we’re visiting Sandringham (24-26 June) for the Horse Driving Trials. We were at the finals in Windsor last year and picked up a lot of interest, so a few months on we thought we’d pop back along to one your events.

For carriage drivers a Nomad is not only great for cleaning and cooling horses after a gruelling event, but customers are buying them to clean the carriages down, as well.  Life pre-Nomad was very much a case of getting water where you can, queuing for water, hosepipes etc. Now, with  a Nomad, you have a compact mobile washer that you can fill up before you set off on your journey.

The weather forecast for the weekend at Sandringham is warm and dry which means the horses will benefit from being cooled as well as there being  lots of dust to be hosed down off the carriages.

So if you’re going, say hello and we’ll let you try out a Nomad.  Plus we’ll have stock to sell. If you would like to find out more about Nomad please follow this link.

See you there.
