Scottish Endurance Riding Club Home International Competition

28-29 of August 2010

The Scottish Endurance Riding Club contacted us to see if we would support them at the Home International Competition, where teams from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland will be competing in the Endurance events. We quickly agreed and now competitors will be able to use the Nomad 18 V washer to quickly cool down their horses at the event. If you are competing, please see your competitors pack for more information on the portable Nomad 18 V horse washing and cooling system. We wish everyone good luck and hope you have a great weekend.

Friday Night Summer Series (FNSS) Round 12 Greetham Valley Golf Club

The inaugural event run by the Velo Club Rutland cycling club was a runaway success. Hosted on the 4×4 off road driving centre track it was a tough and demanding test for all the 100 + cross country mountain bikers. Nomad not only part sponsored the electronic race tags for the season, but offered a free bike wash on the night plus a 12 V bike washer as top prize in the free raffle – won by Ryan Henry who also won the overall race on the night.

British Riding Clubs SEIB National Horse Trials Championship, Aston-le-walls, Northants

6-8 August 2010

This was great weekend in many ways. We teamed up with Iain Asher of Friday Fox, one of the events sponsors, and ran a joint trade stand while Iain competed on his horse Wanou in the Senior Open Horse Trials and came 4th as a team of 4 for Area 3 and fair exceeded his expectations – well done Iain and Wanou. We met some really great people some of whom I am sure will go on to be good friends. Lots of Nomad18 V washers were sold and it gained significant interest from other retailers and also with the organisers of the event. We all camped out in amongst the horse lorries and had memorable evenings around the BBQ. Several ladies pressed the Nomad 18 V into action as a shower, one of which was Laura Walkden who on her horse Buckingham led for all three days to take first place in the Arena 3 Senior Intermediate Horse Trials – top girl. Huge thanks to Iain, Sue, Rowan and Laura for making it such a fantastic weekend. We have many more horse events to attend over the coming months of which we are posting details on our Facebook page.
