Following the interest shown by the EGB at the training weekend we were approached to see if we would be interested in running a trade stand as well as being a title sponsor for the Robin Hood Ride that is due to take place on 4-5 September 2010 at Southwell Race Course. We agreed and are really looking forward to the weekend. We will provide a news update after the event.
Following contact from Linda Kidd we were invited down to meet Liz Finney the Chef D’Equipe of the Enduance GB Horse Team at one of their preparation weekends ready for the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky USA in September. We had a great day meeting Des Payton the Endurance Team Manager, Liz and the rest of the team – two and four legged! As well as making final horse/rider selections for the GB Team there was a vetgate trial with the crews cooling and presenting the magnificent, but hard worked horses, to the vets as they will need to do at the games. The Nomad was trialled with 2kg of ice added to the water tank and was very well received and in fact the team purchased a unit and are taking one to the event in the USA. Good luck EGB!
