Original Source Mountain Mayhem 24 hour cross country mountain bike race.

18 – 20 June 2010

Not only did we have a trade stand alongside our good friend Andy of Andy Stand fame – not forgetting Jayne who kept us fed and watered on that very hot weekend where we did very brisk sales despite the weather, Gary entered as one of a team of 10 relay riders and came 3rd overall. A great weekend with some 2,500 riders – organised by the one and only Patrick Adams and his dedicated team. Great one, Pat. http://www.osmountainmayhem.co.uk/index.html

Chris Jenkinson a Director of the renowned bike maintenance company Weldtite, sponsors a Women’s Cross Country Mountain Bike Team. Chris asked if we could support the team with Nomad 18 V washers. We did so happily and now "We Are Bike Maintenance" too.

UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Down Hill Race.- Fort William

4-6 June 2010

What a crowd, what a course, and yet another hot weekend. Lesley Beck and the huge team laid on a terrific event for Down Hill Riders from around the world. Following the success of the previous Dalby Cross Country World cup race we were asked to run the official bike wash again, but declined as there was limited access by the public to the wash area. Home boy hero Steve Peat could not defend his world crown but Great Britain’s Gee Atherton won the Men’s, with Sister Rachel coming second in the women’s. Tracy Mosley also raced hard to 4th place for GBR. The trade stand did good sales and we must say that we have never met so many Dirtworker customers at one event – it must be a Scottish thing – yep, all the rain. Andy from Andy Stand joined us and we both worked to cross sell each other’s products. Great weekend. http://fortwilliamworldcup.co.uk/
